Sarasota NAACP Wins Prestigious 2026 Davey Gold Award for "Defending Democracy" Voting Rights Campaign

The Sarasota NAACP is thrilled to announce that our "Defending Democracy" campaign has been honored with a prestigious 2026 Gold Davey Award in the Integrated Campaign–Social Media category!

This national recognition celebrates the powerful promotional video and social media campaign created from our 2026 Summer Panel Discussion, which focused on educating and mobilizing voters ahead of the critical August midterm primaries.

The award-winning project, titled "NAACP Voting Rights Forum," was a collaborative masterpiece produced in partnership with Cali Gal Media to amplify the essential message: "Your Vote, Your Voice, Your Power."

What is the Davey Award?

Winning a Gold Davey Award is a top-tier honor, signifying outstanding creativity, vision, and execution.

About the Award-Winning Project

Featuring powerful panel highlights, community voices, and rallying cries to "Protect Our Vote," the media was designed to empower voters of all generations, especially our seniors and historical voting blocs, to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
